Prepare for your appointment by reading
through the following guidelines

1

Book Online

We do not currently have consistent reception assistance and therefore request all patients book or make adjustments to their appointment using our scheduling platform, Jane. New patients will be directed to create an account and complete the initial intake forms. Former patients of Downtown Community Acupuncture should already have an account with Jane, and can sign in with their previous login credentials but will need to complete a new intake form.

If you have trouble scheduling, try using this guide first. If you still need assistance, please message or email us. We're happy to help!

2

Wear or Bring Loosely Fitting Attire

This allows your practitioner to most comfortably (for you and them) reach some of the most used acupoints situated around the elbows and knees. Although alternative points can just about always be chosen, having more points accessible is most favorable.

3

Arrive Fed & Hydrated!

It is not recommended to receive acupuncture without having eaten something in the past few hours, as the movement of energy through the body can feel extreme for someone who doesn't have enough food in their belly. We will have deliciously filtered water available, though are striving to create a low/no-waste environment and request you bring your water bottle for refill.
